These are some of the most comfortable contact lenses I have. They are easy to put in, not too thin, but feel like I am not wearing any. I can wear them all day. Unfortunately, I purchased the "Gemstone Green" as my first choice (not here) but could barely tell any color was there. No one noticed unless very up close that my eyes were kind of green. The "Brilliant Blue" is the best for color change, and I found them here at a great price. I was glad I could purchase just one pair, so I could sample them. I found I really like the "Brilliant Blue" as they have the most "pop" that is very noticeable on my medium brown eyes, especially in the sunlight. They are my favorite. The "Sapphire Blue" is also very pretty, more natural and becomes a dark blue on my eyes, which is a nice change. I just didn't care for the gemstone green. I have only tried these colors. They are made very well, but as far as color change I gave them 4 stars.
These are wonderful lenses you can use to get a me but better look or more noticeable change depending on the shade. I love the me but better look so I wear the same shade of lenses atop what my real eye color is. The difference is so nice when I go out in the sun or appear in pictures. In the past, I tried the more vibrant shades and enjoyed them. My real eye color has a tendency to disappear in some lighting. This takes care of that problem. An eye doctor I visited who first got me hooked on these likes wearing blue on blue with bold eye makeup when she goes out to dinner for dates. I thought she was kidding that they make a difference, but she said the trick is to wear you own eye shade on top of whatever you already wear to bring out your eyes, and even her natural light blue eyes had that same issue I did with eye color looking dull in lots of light. Another eye doctor I have been to as a patient told me his movie stars all wear this you but better trick, and I got so into it. Many of the male movie stars you see out there use blue on blue, or grey on grey-blue!
Of course, you CAN wear the shades that don’t match yours, and I tried that when I first began demoing these. Gemstone green is really pretty. Green made my eyes a lot darker, but it looked nice in photos. It was less convincing on me than on some women who have chocolate eyes and want green. My eyes are the opposite color wheel from blue, so I don’t look convincing in them like the doctor does with her blue eyes. I look good in anything green or amber, and it’s quite convincing because I’m not straying too far from my color wheel palette.
