Update: 1 Day Acuvue Trueye has been discontinued by the manufacturer and is unavailable from 1 July 2022. Some powers will be in stock after this date - if you see your power in the power drop down list, then you can still order. We recommend Acuvue Oasys with Hydraluxe Technology contact lenses as a replacement.
Johnson and Johnson's latest generation of Acuvue daily contact lenses is the 1-DAY ACUVUE TruEye. This advanced lens combines the benefits of more oxygen transmission (98%) with the highest UV protection (96% of UVA and 100% UVB blocked) to bring you a contact lens that can be worn comfortably and safely each day and then be thrown away.
The TruEye contact lens is a world first for incorporating a new generation silicone into a daily lens, the result is a contact lens that lets almost 100% of the oxygen in the air to your eye. 1 Day Acuvue TruEye also has a high volume of moisture rich wetting agent embedded in the lens, making the lens ultra smooth for all day comfort and an ideal solution in our digital world where extra screen time can cause dry eyes.
1-DAY ACUVUE TruEye also have a visibility tint for ease of handling and a `123` indicator for ease of insertion.
1 Day Acuvue Trueye is a silicone daily disposable contact lens and can be on the expensive end, if you are looking for an alternative daily disposable silicone hydrogel lens there are not too many options, you can check out Dailies Total 1 which is similar infit and price but if you love the silicone hydrogel feel but don't love the price check out Crystal Air Daily at only £14.00 per box you can save a whopping £19.98 per month!

1 Day Acuvue Trueye is a silicone hydrogel contact lens designed to increase the amount of oxygen reaching your eye, creating a safe contact lens for longer wear. 1 Day Acuvue Trueye is considered by professionals to be a superior contact lens and is often the lens of choice for dry eye sufferers and patients that have problems with other contact lenses.
Unfortunately not, although 1 Day Acuvue Trueye is a silicone hydrogel contact lens allowing increased levels of oxygen permeability they have only been approved as a daily disposable contact lens and so therefore are not suitable for overnight wear.
1 Acuvue Trueye with its increased oxygen permeability can be worn all day, and we mean all day, not 14 or 16 hour limit of most contact lenses. According to Johnson and Johnson 1 Day Acuve Trueye can be worn all waking hours, all that's required is that you remove and dispose of then before you go to bed - what can be simpler or more convenient than that?

I would definately order the acuvue trueye lenses if they were available in + are there any plans to product them in the plus prescription?
Contactlenses.co.uk Reply - Extending the product range is up to the manufacturer (JOhnson & Johnson), so far they have not indicated that any extension of the range is imminent.
Hi I have been wearing acuvue moist for the last 12 months which are a really good soft lens and are comfortable. how ever I am always looking for the next generation of lenses to which I came across daily acuvue truEye lenses which are a new silicon type of lense with a higher air and water percentage unfortunately they are only available in the minus powers where I am in the + power.
is there any reason why they don`t cover both minus and positive powers??
